UsenetServer is another “senior” provider which offers Usenet flat rates, having been online for over 12 years. It is often the first service people come across, as the name might actually suggest that it is “the original” or somehow the actual creator of the Usenet. They offer a free trial so that you can test their service before deciding if they are the right choice.

However many users don’t want to invest time to check a service themselves, so we did it for you! How is the quality of this service? Did they keep pace with all the competing companies?

We were able to download with up to 100 MBit, the limit of our Internet, a speed which most people don’t have. A note here: We experienced some fluctuations while downloading a few files in succession which was not captured by this image, so for user with more than 40 – 50 MBit there might be a minor issue. But mostly everything was to our satisfaction, and Internet connections like ours are not really common.

Other Nice Features: UsenetServer also offers their own Usenet “Global Search” so that you don’t have to browse through all newsgroups manually. Basically, just enter what you’re looking for and if it’s available on the Usenet, it will be found, period.

Recommendation:
