Anonymous News Feeds Usenet

Anonymous News Feeds.com offers high download and upload speeds along with a secure server protected by a 256- Bit SSL encryption. If you don’t want to pay for a secure server, they offer plans without SSL for cheaper. You can max out your internet connection with their 50 available connections and two available server farms which are located in the United States and in Europe. As well, they have many different price plans that you can choose from; more than I am used to seeing. This is great for those users who really know what they want included in their Usenet service plan.

Retention: Anonymous News Feeds.com offers a 650+ day binary retention and a 1, 100+ day text retention. They were unable to provide stats on the retention provided with their power servers so I would suggest not choosing those service plans.

Anonymity: Anonymous News Feeds.com offers a secure server connection with a 256- Bit SSL encryption but this feature is only available on certain price plans. This means that you have to pay to have a secure connection. This could be seen as a good thing if you don’t think you need SSL and hoping to get a discount on a service plan that doesn’t include it. Otherwise, it is definitely not a great feature that they offer.

Pricing: Their Usenet plans start at only $6.95 a month for 20 Gigabytes on a power server. That is a good price but they were unable to verify how much retention will come with this plan. Without a free trial and some stats, this is a pretty steep offer. I also noticed that they did not have any plan that included SSL and was not on a power server.

One plan that stood out to me was the Unlimited Plan. With this plan, you receive an unlimited amount of connections and an unlimited amount of Gigabytes for $29.95 a month. This includes SSL and web browser access. You will also receive an uncensored connection with uncapped speeds.

Speed:

One of the features of Anonymous News Feeds.com is that they have a high amount of connections and more than one server farm. They have 50 connections with a server farm in the United Sates and a server farm in Europe. They do not cap or throttle speeds as well and they offer a secure connection which, in some cases, can speed up your connection. Both servers allow up to 20 simultaneous connections at one time. When their servers were last tested, they met speeds of up to 622.08 Mbps.

Features:

They have over 100, 000 newsgroups available to you with at an uncensored connection. As well, they have a 99% completion rate and a 1000+ day text retention. Anonymous News Feeds.com offers service plans with web browser access and plans without SSL. They offer ANTI-spam filters and 100% availability.

Recommendation:

I would recommend Anonymous News Feeds.com to those of you who are really looking for that unique Usenet service plan and you have not found it yet. With the 10+ service plans available from this provider, you should be able to find one that fits your needs. As well, if you are looking for a discount and you are hoping that cutting out the SSL will give you one, this is a provider you may want to look into.
